But, hey, you can still surprise them by making their favorite dessert at home. Satisfy their sweet cravings with this easy-to-make treat the whole family will love. This dessert is full of nutritious and natural ingredients, and they’re delicious enough that no one will suspect they’re healthy.
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/3 superfine sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 8 oz. white chocolate, finely chopped
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup sprinkles
Combine strawberries, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl. Mash berries with a fork until sugar has dissolved. Mix in yogurt.
Divide mixture among six 4-ounce ice-pop molds. Top with lids. Insert a craft stick into each mold. Freeze for 6 hours or until frozen
You can do some laundry, fetch the kids from school, or finish some blog entries
After 6 hours, place sprinkles on a small plate
Microwave chocolate and coconut oil on high setting until just melted – about 1 minute (use a tall microwave-safe glass or container). Stir until smooth. Allow cooling to room temperature.
Remove pops from the mold and dip ends in melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then quickly roll in sprinkles.
